Commercial Division - Board of Directors Nominations Open

As the Commercial Division Election opens for the 2012 seats, the following offices will be open to any member in good standing who meet the bylaws qualifications:
PRESIDENT-ELECT: (Qualifications: REALTOR® membership in good standing REALTOR® Director for at least two years, exception are members under Article IV, Section 1 (a) (2).)
SECRETARY-TREASURER: (Qualifications: REALTOR® membership in good standing, REALTOR® Director for at least one year, exception are members under Article IV, Section 1 (a) (2).)
(NOTE: None of the above may serve more than one term)
REALTOR® DIRECTORS:
Two (2) to be elected - 3 year terms (may not serve more than two (2) consecutive terms)
(Qualifications: REALTOR® membership.)
REALTOR® ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR:
One (1) to be elected – 1 year term (may not serve more than two (2) consecutive terms)
NOMINATION: By nomination form (Available at Association Office) by mail, email or fax. Names may be placed in nomination by filing the appropriate nomination form, Agreement to Serve, and submitting a color photograph at the Association Office, (Attention: Chris Woods) no earlier than Friday, July 15, 2011 and no later than Friday, July 29, 2011 at 5:00 p.m.
The Bylaws provide, “For the purpose of the bylaws, election to a one (1) year term shall be construed in the same manner as election for a longer term insofar as succession in office is concerned.”
NOTE: The Bylaws of the Commercial Division provide, ARTICLE III, SECTION 3
“No more than two (2) of said six (6) elected REALTOR® member Directors shall be from the same firm.”
